Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in building complex MongoDB queries and pipelines, optimizing database performance, and developing data models. S/he will work closely with cross-functional teams to design efficient database queries and provide insights using MongoDB aggregation frameworks.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Develop MongoDB Queries
  • Build and maintain complex aggregation pipelines to meet business requirements.
  • Write optimized queries for data retrieval and manipulation.
2. Database Performance Optimization
  • Analyze and optimize MongoDB queries for better performance.
  • Implement indexing strategies to improve query efficiency.
3. Schema Design and Data Modeling
  • Design and implement efficient MongoDB schemas based on project needs.
  • Ensure scalability and maintainability of database structures.
4. Collaboration and Reporting
  • Collaborate with developers, analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements.
  • Create detailed reports and dashboards using aggregation frameworks.
5. Monitoring and Debugging
  • Troubleshoot and debug query-related issues.
  • Monitor database performance and resolve bottlenecks.
6. Documentation and Standards
  • Document all queries, pipelines, and database configurations.
  • Adhere to industry best practices and coding standards.

Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:

Experience:
  • 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience with MongoDB development and aggregation pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in MongoDB or NoSQL databases is a plus.
  • Experience with additional NoSQL databases or cloud databases like Atlas.
  • Familiarity with front-end or back-end frameworks such as Node.js or Angular.
  • Exposure to Big Data systems or data visualization tools.
Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in MongoDB query language and aggregation framework.
  • Experience with schema design, indexing, and optimization techniques.
  • Proficient in JavaScript or Python for database interaction.
  • Familiarity with tools like Compass, Studio 3T, or Robo 3T.
  • Understanding of NoSQL databases and their differences from relational databases.
Problem-Solving Skills:
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into efficient MongoDB queries.
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Compensation:

  • Rs 9 lakhs p.a.
  • Negotiable in case of deserving candidates.
